Deleting the IJCAD Settings Folder as Well
The uninstallation of IJCAD is complete, but the settings files actually remain.
Because the settings files remain, it's possible to carry over CUI settings and more when you next install the same version and grade of IJCAD.
However, if you are reinstalling IJCAD due to a malfunction, the cause of the problem may be in this settings folder. It also becomes an unnecessary folder if you want to delete IJCAD itself.
In such cases, perform the following operation to properly delete the IJCAD settings folder as well.
How to Delete the IJCAD Settings Folder
- Open a new Explorer (a new folder).
- Configure the setting to show hidden files. Click the down-arrow in the upper right of Explorer and open the 「View」 tab.

- Check the box for 「Hidden files」 to change the setting to show hidden files.

- Next, open the settings folder.
Open C:\Users(username)\AppData\Roaming\IntelliJapan.
(username) will be the name of the currently logged-in user.
- All settings folders for IJCAD versions you have ever installed are displayed. Select the grade of the IJCAD you just uninstalled.

- All versions of IJCAD you have ever installed are displayed. Right-click the version of IJCAD you just uninstalled and select 「Delete」.

- With that, you have successfully deleted the IJCAD settings folder.
If you accidentally delete the settings file of an installed IJCAD, IJCAD will start with its initial settings the next time it is launched. If you have made customizations, you will have to go through the trouble of reconfiguring them, so please be careful when performing this operation.
